Regional passenger and freight air transport in Europe in 2006 - Issue number 27/2008
The publication presents the latest data (2006) on passengers and freight air transport at regional (NUTS 2) level. It covers all EU countries, HR, TR, NO, LI and CH. The top 10 of NUTS 2 regions with the largest number of passengers and freight serviced in 2006 are presented. Moreover there are two maps presenting total number of passengers and freight for all NUTS 2 regions. The regions (top 10) with the largest growth in passenegr and freight transport in the latest years have been also presented in the tables.

Regional road and rail transport networks - Issue number 28/2008
The publication presents the latest data (2005) on road and rail transport infrastructure at regional (NUTS 2) level. It covers all EU countries, HR, TR, NO, LI and CH. The key indicator on motorways and other roads at national level are presented. Also the top 10 regions are listed taking into account the density of motorways and railway network density. Motorway density relative to GDP in 2005 for 20 regions has been also included in the tables.

Inner London In 2005, GDP per inhabitant1, expressed in terms of purchasing power standards2, in the EU27's 271 NUTS-23 regions ranged from 24% of the EU27 average in the region of Nord-Est in Romania, to 303% of the average in Inner London in the United Kingdom.
