The publication shows the level of development of high-tech Knowledge Intensive Services (KIS) in Europe and evidences the under-representation of women and their lower earnings in high-tech sectors as well as the increase of high-tech services jobs in some countries. Regions around European capitals often display high shares of employment in high-tech KIS.
