Figures show huge gap between EU's richest and poorest regions

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - New statistics revealed on Tuesday (25 January) have shown a large gap between the poorest and the richest regions in the EU.
The figures released by Eurostat - the EU's statistical arm - show that the EU's richest region is almost ten times richer than its poorest.
